Summit Engineering Associates brings together structural, geostructural, and geotechnical engineers with more than 20 years of combined experience. Our team has worked on buildings, water and wastewater facilities, bridges, dams, foundations, marine structures, and underground infrastructure across the United States, Canada, Africa, and the Gulf region. We bring that experience to each project through practical design, clear communication, and support during construction.

Dr. Ahmed Mahgoub, P.Eng., P.E.
Principal Engineer
Dr. Mahgoub is a geostructural and geotechnical engineer with experience in project management, foundation engineering, tunneling, trenchless construction, marine structures, and heavy civil works.
His projects include dams, bridges, culverts, jetties, underground structures, excavation support, and ground improvement. He applies finite element modeling, seismic and dynamic analysis, and soil–structure interaction analysis to complex engineering problems.
His experience spans the United States, Canada, Africa, and the Gulf region.
Dr. Ahmed Hussain
Senior Structural Engineer
Dr. Hussain specializes in the design and analysis of steel, reinforced concrete, and composite structures. His experience includes high-rise buildings, long-span steel structures, bridges, water treatment facilities, transmission and turbine towers, structural assessments, and strengthening.
His technical expertise includes advanced finite element modeling and second-order stability analysis.
Mohamed Abdelhamy
Geological Engineering Specialist
Mohamed Abdelhamy is a licensed geological engineering professional with over 20 years of consultancy experience on major projects across the Middle East, Gulf region, and Africa. He specializes in geological mapping, geotechnical investigations, site characterisation, rock mass characterisation, rock slope stability, and geotechnical design. His expertise includes geological, geophysical, and geotechnical assessments and developing practical solutions for complex infrastructure and large-scale projects.
